Numbers are not out yet, but we at Gibbs-Montgomery are very close to the top. A part of it is the new flight schools, with buckets of money flowing into Cherokees, Cirrusi, and gorgeous office buildings, but another part is the Cub/Stearman population. We routinely clock in with 40 operations a day, putting us at the 4% level. I am happy to say that almost all of them are my students.

In the early 2000s, when our traffic was significantly lower, I personally clocked in at 3%. My students, back then, took us well above six percent. Of course, since I am scared to get out of the pattern, no wonder . . .
