Within a minute of takeoff I fly by a town park with base ball fields, a cemetery, and a playground. Smack in the middle is a Korean War era tank as a memorial. Even though I may be 300' to 400' and know where the tank sits I still have trouble spotting it. Makes me think of the L-4 guys charged with ferreting out German Tanks which were often camouflaged. I ask my passengers to spot the tank and even point to the location, and it is rare for them to spot it.
