I read on this forum a fellow requesting advise on tail wheel training.
I saw 2 excellent responces, that is in my opinion.
One spoke of using a wheel barrow to teach the difference between nose and tail wheels. I have always used a golf cart. one of those old types before self driving things. this method clearly demonstrates the properties of both.
the second is using reduced power. excellent to. I control the power until the tail wheel lifts off and then close the throttle. boy that makes them work. it loosens up the legs.
in addition, all my training is below 100 feet. this demonstrates, practically, the correct use of pedals and maintaining height. procedure turns to arrive back on track. A linear irrigators tracks that is.
your forum reads well and appears you have some good pilots amongst you.
