My friendly local zoning and permit officer says I can build anything I want if under 1000 sq ft.

I've been wondering with so many carport and premade shed joints around why hasn't anyone come up with a mass produced modular hangar for a cub size airplane.

Anyone have experience designing with wood?

I was envisioning a four section modular setup. Tail, left wing, right wing, center. Transport on a flatbed and lag bolt the parts together. Could be prebuilt anywhere.

Just a T hangar size building with wood floor and no foundation. gravel base underneath.

Seems like there would be a demand for this type of thing.
