Hello to the group-
this is my first post-
My first profound question is, I sometimes find myself pondering at times, how do guys get that mirror like finish on a metal prop.
I just picked-up a flybaby with an A65(with J3 eyebrows) and metal prop minus a prop spinner. I was going to buy a 5" skull spinner and was wondering if my metal prop can be buffed out with polish to get a mirror like shine so I can see myself in it for a morning shave? Or are guys having them dipped or are they sold with a chrome finish? BTW I obtained my TW rating in a J3 Cub. I am a Mobilized Army reservist been on active duty for about 3 1/2 out of the last 5 years, presently based out of Fort Dix NJ but Pittsburgh PA is home.
I'm into a litttle bit of everything; GA Rentals, ultralights, gyros, experimentals, trikes and RC flying.
-Great group and I really like the expertise from reading present and pasts posts. :)
