I just changed the oil and reinserted the temperature bulb into the adapter on the oil screen. The engine is an A65-8. After test flying for 30 min I notice oil splattered on the firewall and running outside the cowl. Seems to be coming out around the oil temp line. Not much but it did not do this before. I've changed the oil and checked the screen before and snugged the male hollow nut that holds the temp bulb inside the screen. After the flight, I snugged the nut further but will test fly tomorrow. Oil temp gauge showed correct engine temp in flight.

Is there anythiing I should be aware of? Is there a gasket inside the adapter to help seal the bulb? I just hope I did not screw anything up this close to flying to Sentimental Journey!

Thanks,
Jim
