I have a 1946 J-3 C-65 that has 1170hrs total time since new.....has never been wrecked. I would like to convert it to a PA-11......I've done this before to a J-3.......I really like the changes and in my opinion it makes a good airplane even better. My question is......do you think I should take this low of a time J-3 and modify it......or should it be left alone and rebuilt as a J-3 since it's probably one of the lower time J-3's around. I know it's my airplane and I can do what I want....but just curious what you might think. Thanks
