Information needed PA11

Can you guys enlighten me as to the differences between a J3 and PA11? Thinking to use a tradional cub to add into our Sport Cub and Super Cub fleet for training. J3 is a bit squeezy in the front and the instructors are not all going to fit! Is there a bit more room in the front of the 11, and is it solo from front or back in that variant?. Would love to hear opinions from all,
