Just trying to get a handle on my carb heat check with my C-85.

When I was learning this winter, temps were around 20 degrees and at 1700rpm run-up, I would get an rpm drop of 80+ rpm, last week it was 80 degrees and I only got maybe a 25 rpm drop at run up. This makes sense that this would happen, just want to make sure it's normal. Carb heat flap has full movement.

All the info I can find just says a slight rpm drop should be noted, and I always leave it on to make sure there isn't roughness and then an increase.

As always thanks for the info.
