Hey Guys,
This weekend I’m planning to do bungee replacement using the engine hoist method. I have never done bungees before, but the engine hoist method looks fairly straightforward.
I will be very careful. I am aware of the massive amount of kinetic energy in the bungees. That is why I’m opting for the engine hoist method vs using a traditional tool.
Any pointers from those of you who have replaced bungees this way? What is the best way to pick up the engine? Was thinking motor mounts near firewall and doing one side at a time. Also would appreciate any links to threads on this specific topic. I actually got the idea on here.
Wish me luck. Thanks all!
