THINKING about installing a battery and B&C Starter in my J-3 equiped with a C-90-12 Would someone be so kind as to provide photos, drawings or even paperwork that has been previously approved.

I am considering installing the Odyssey PC310 weighing in at only 5.9 lbs. I know...it does not have a PMA; I would really be interested in adding starting capability for 16 +/- lbs....plus wire, contactor and contactor.

Looking for suggestions...does this sound feasible? My bird is already heavy given that it has (2) 18 gallon wing tanks and no header tank in addition to the weight of the C-90....don't blast me on "how stupid" all the fuel capacity is....it already had the tanks installed and I typically fly with about 12 to 18 gallons.
