Went out today and finally got good 15 kt crosswinds. Have not had strong crosswinds in the year I have had my J3.
It was great got my ass kicked, learned a lot about the plane.
The grass strip was being irrigated, so had to use pavement. Got tired of all the tire noise, so used the dirt next to the runway. It's OK when I came to the airport years ago it was all dirt.
Must say it was much easier off the pavement.
