I need a Cabin Heat box for a J5 project. Piper# 70232-00. I would think it is the same unit as found on J3's, J4's, PA12 & 14. Anyone have a serviceable one you can part with. Thanks, Donna

Donna,

While I can not find it through their online catalog, I know Univair is now producing this part. I held it in my hand and talked with Jim Dyer about it at Sentimental Journey. Don't know what it costs though. ::)

Yes Univair has them. I too held it in my hand at Sentimental Journey. It doesn'tmatter what the cost is if you need it.

I bought one from univair but haven't put it on yet cause it is incomplete. Univair doesn't have the pipe that sticks out the bottom of the cowl yet.
