I am leaning towards a metal prop and have been told they are more efficient than a wood prop. There is a good article on the Cub Club site about the advantage of wood VS metal in case of a prop strike and another is the price for wood is a lot less. My C75 with a climb Sensenich 70/40 wood will easily go over my 2700 red line and cruises around 68mph at 2500rpm.

A friend has an 85 hp with a 71/43 which was originally on his 65hp L4. He claims 80mph cruise...it seems like I'd get that with my 75hp which runs at a higher rpm than his 85HP.

What's the opinion of you experienced Cub drivers....Is there a wood Sensenich which would fill my needs? Madras field elevation is 2,400 feet and I can easily be at 5,000 foot field elevation airports.
