When installing a new wing trailing edge, does the length wise opening (of the folded aluminum) look up or down.

Both wings had the trailing edge installed with the opening facing UP.

And logically, why?

Also, are holes ever drilled through the bottom of the leading edge to allow moisture to escape? I found a few places in the trailing edge bulged by ice.
