Here is a site that was forwarded to me that has been of assistance in various boat deliveries I do .
It occurred to me it could also be a practical tool for cub pilots pre planning etc. Yes weather changes!!! however its forward hourly wind at surface has been rather accurate and simple to use.

http://windmapper.com/?Loc=FL

This is for southern east coast , simply click on the map where you want and touch an arrow current and projected hourly winds display. as a US site it has conveniently even include Yarmouth NS Canada in the NorthEast.

Hope this is of help?

on a positive note....... pulled C-FDHJ out of the hangar today on floats on the trailer and started her for the first time since rebuild....test flight on floats expected when weather improves( Mon) and before probable end of Dec freeze up. Pic s to follow

Great site thanks Wil
