Ran the carb bowl dry....MS accelerator pump also dry. Had two gallons in the main tank. Turns out the inlet on the carb is an inch higher than the bottom of the tank in the three point...Two gallons does not provide enough head. Added four more gallons and all is well. Lesson is to keep a cruise attitude if you are just about to run out of fuel. And don't climb steeply if low on fuel....it's true.
