Vortex Generators ??

Thinking of installing Vortex Generators on my Cub. Would like to hear any comments from people who have installed them and how it effected the aircraft? Did effect the elevator effectiveness at slow speeds? I have a J-3 converted to a PA-11 and could use more elevator at slow speeds. Hope to hear all good and bad comments. Are they worth the price? would you do it again?
