Hello,

I don’t post much here, but thought one or two might enjoy some GoPro Cub video I’ve turned into a 9min clip.

The URL is: [ame=http://youtu.be/4hbGXoflWmk?hd=1]http://youtu.be/4hbGXoflWmk?hd=1[/ame]

I’m a Van’s RV guy through and through, but I really have a soft spot for this Cub – a joy to fly.

(the YouTube description)
Clips from a few flights around N. Texas in a 1946 Piper J3C Cub. This 66yr old aircraft is flown with the door and window down by (8) people who all also own Van's RV kitplanes. The heat under a bubble canopy in a Texas summer can be really punishing - we fly this as alternative when it's hot, we aren't traveling, and/or formation or acro isn't needed. These clips filmed with a GoPro HD Hero 2.

It burns under $12 in avgas ($5/gal) for a half hour flight, and splitting the hangar and insurance costs several ways makes it amazingly affordable flying.

Music was selected from the free choices that YouTube offered.

Hope you enjoy the clip,
D.Reeves
