I have a couple of valve covers weapping at the bottom of the seal regularly. The gasquets are elastomeric type recently replaced but still weapping. Tried different torques but did not work, still weaping traces and few drops of oils on the struts after the flights
Are the standard gasquets (non-elastomeric) better to obtain a good sealing ?
The elastomeric ones seems to be sensitive to the torque used to squeeze them. Unless there is a need to sand the valve covers to refresh the sealing surface ?
