Hi All,

I was flying my Cub last night, and felt something hit my left foot. Looking down, I saw a small set screw like part on the floor boards next to my shoe. I quickly reached down and grabbed it before it could skitter off and disappear!

Upon landing, I inspected the entire cockpit area and could not see where this part might have come from! One clue is that about 15 seconds before I felt the part hit my foot, I had raised the left-side window to the fully closed position. It's probably a coincidence, because I can't see anything related to the window from where this part might have come!

While this looks like a set screw, the tip is pointed, and not blunt like a typical set screw. This looks more like a pivot of some kind?

Anyone recognize where this part might have come from?

Thanks,

John
