Hi gents,

I have successfully pulled and reinstalled the cylinder I asked about in a previous thread. Thanks for all the help! Haven’t fired her back up again as I also checked pressure relief valve, which was clean, and tried to check the oil screen.

Here is where I ran into some difficulty. That oilscreen is sitting damn tight. It seems like previous owner / AME did not use the AN900-28 copper asbestos crush washer, but a normal copper washer. I had a pretty big wrench in there but could not budge that screen. Did not want to keep on forcing it before consulting with people smarter than me. (I was mindful of a saying we have here in SA - with enough force you can break off your finger in your a$$).

Any tips or tricks to get that sucker loosened?

I am worried about what I might find if I do get it loose though, because it is obvious to me that the oilscreen has not been removed in quite some time...
