Relocating 150 miles west and final move out is this weekend. Have left my assembled C85 on a legit engine stand in my garage and have to figure out how to get it moved sans stand on Saturday. Any reason I can’t take advantage of a few very large 6” thick cushions, pillows and moving blankets...along with a couple strategically placed cargo straps and just lay it kidney tank up on them for the ride? All interstate so will be a relatively mild ride. I’d considered leaving it on the stand and securing the whole works, but I’m not liking the idea of the leverage on the prop hub and that’s far too top heavy a setup for my liking. Appreciate any insight. Fuselage and wings are already moved.
