Hello,
I'm very new here and I just bought a 1940 J3L-65 about 2 weeks ago. It has an O-145-B2 Lycoming that runs good but I would rather replace it with an A65 Cont. I am willing to trade my complete firewall forward....O-145-B2 engine(with all accessories),wood prop, mount, cowling, and two sets of exhaust(one set straight, one with muffler) to enough parts to install my A65 cont.(I ALREADY AN A65 CONT). I would like to get a serviceable continental cowl, engine mount, and exhaust, and would like to get either a prop or core A65(apart is fine). I already have an engine and prop but I figure it only sounds right to get something extra since I'm trading a complete running firewall forward but I'm very open to offers. I also have an extra gasket overhaul kit for the Lycoming. If anyone has these parts at a reasonable price or willing to trade please let me know.
Thanks,
Kevin Mays
