The first is how do you post a question to the general conversation thread, or where is the help menu for dumb old geezers like me.

Nearly ready for first flight after a long rebuild. The next question concerns the tail wheel spring. I have one bottom spring with a slot about twice the width of the bolt hole and a second with just a hole for the bolt. The question is the slot necessary to allow movement between the two spring leaves for a hard landing, or was it just an allowance for tolerance? If the former then I'm confused as it would seem the bolt holding the tail wheel to the spring would preclude movement unless not tightened.

The second question is, where on the FAA web site can I find the original factory new delivery certificate that includes the original weight and balance, assuming it's available.
