On May 3rd I was invited to go see the L-4 named "Rosie the Rocketer" the famous L-4 of Lt. Col. Charles "Bazooka Charlie" Carpenter. "Rosie" is in the process of restoration and unfortunately I could not see it do to the fact the person that invited me had left and this being the very first opening day of the museum everyone was very busy and the hangars were closed. But the 1-1/2 hour road to the museum was not in vain. This museum is a jewel in the desert! Its unique in every way, an experience to the senses to see and remember. Plan on a full day to take it all in. I hope to see "Rosie the Rocketer" during her restoration and help in some small way to be part of putting her back into the air again.

The pictures and short video are just a small part of my wondrous experience to this one of a kind museum. Well worth the trip from anywhere to go and see ..... Enjoy.
