Looks like Legend has added flaps to their SLSA product line as did CC. I have never flown a plane with flaps so I am interested in their use on a Cub. The Cubs have a highly cambered airfoil and the LSA versions at 1320 gross are still very lightly wing-loaded. ( I fly the wing at 1050 lb gross) . I can understand the need for flaps to increase camber for lift and drag with semi symmetrical foils and or higher wing loading...but on a LSA Cub how are they used ? Are they put to work mostly with power to fly really slow ?
