KBVI - 42 miles North of downtown Pittsburgh, PA - '46 J-3C 100 hp - paved and grass runways, cross wind runways, experienced instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP, Experimental Test Pilot).

1. Want a tailwheel endorsement because it looks fun? Maybe you're going to join a club with a tailwheel aircraft or are considering buying one.
2. Grass experience is hard to get in some places, we have a couple grass runways to choose from close to Beaver County Airport (KBVI).
3. If you're looking to get current in a tailwheel, have an endorsement and have been flying nose-draggers for a while, give me a call
4. Tailwheel time before flying your experimental kit built plane for the first time, or after a Winter of not flying, can lower insurance and increase safety.
All flying in our J-3 Cub is dual only, it keeps insurance down to a minimum since I don't charge much.
CFIs get a special rate, call to discuss, we believe every CFI should be a tailwheel pilot too!
