The Sulphur Springs Annual Fall Fly-In will be held Friday and Saturday, Sep 9 and 10, 2005 at the Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport. The format has changed, and there will not be any airshow this year. The fly in will be a low keyed affair and held on the grass strip located on the west side of the paved runway. We have almost completed building a protected inlet just west of the grass strip to park floatplanes. Camping will be available adjacent to the grass strip. We plan on having a Hopkins County Stew dinner on Friday evening.
Sulphur Springs Airport is the home of American Legend Aircraft, and they plan on having both the J-3 style Legend Cub and the PA-11 style Legend Cub at the fly in. They are planning on having one of these on floats for the fly in.
