Suggestions for Acquiring Knowledge

I'm thinking about buying a Cub and willing to take my time to go into this with knowledge. I'm reading as much on this forum as I can and emailing knowledgeable people and ordering FAA CDs to review. I'll try and go to some "tube and fabric" shops to look around and talk to some mechanics (I'll go to Van Sant Airport soon). Any other suggestions ? Anyone know of any books worth reading ? Other sources of information ?
