Seems the Stromberg carb on my A65 is running rich. Lots of black soot in the exhaust and the fuel burn rate seems a bit high, but it sure runs fine. About 75 hrs. SMOH and rebuilt carb. I've not made exact measurments, but it seems close to 5 gal. per hour @ 2200 rpm. Don't want to wash out my cylinders with excess fuel. Is there a mixture setting on the carb or do jets have to be changed? Haven't had the plane long and so would appreciate anyone sharing your expertise.

P.S. I executed my first successful 'rearward flying leap' into the back seat the other day thanks to that video. Took a while to get up the nerve, but it went well. Can't figure out how the 'exit leap' goes though, might need another video of that too!
