Hi guys… new to the forum so I’ll try to explain as best I can.

I have a 1943 J-3 with the Reed clipped wing conversion and a C85 on the front. I need to replace the exhausts and am having trouble finding replacement parts, but a local vendor suggested putting on stub stacks with a cuff around one that feeds into the carb heat. Is anyone aware of an STC or field approval that lets me do this? For reference, here is the part number.

Any info is appreciated.
