Clay,

7AK ended up weighing 888 pounds, the options added weighted according to the list 54.5 #s total. The listed empty weight before those options was 825#s. That comes to 879#s total empty weight compared to actual 888#s. Where did the extra 9#s come from?

I am assuming some of could be from residual fuel? oil?

Hi George,



The empty weight in the W&B section of your POH is the actual weight of aircraft with the equipment installed. The 825lbs you see online and in our material is an estimate due to the fact we have not yet ever built a bone stock aircraft. Everything delivered to date has had a fair amount of the options installed.
