A quarter inch difference in the width of the case, and some of the internal part numners are different (though the 4301 parts will fit and function in the 4201). Coil is a different number, and the 4301 distributor block is a single assembly, while the 4201 distributor block is made up of three individual parts. The 4301 is the one in current manufacture.
