Several people have asked about my Skyote and why so few (~12) are flying. The answer has been build time/complexity and unavailable plans and kits.
Things are changing.
Aircraft Spruce now has plans and basic materials kits for the Skyote. These are not complete kits (you still have to buy flying wires, spar webs and caps, and the usual things like engine, prop, instruments, wheels and brakes, covering materials, etc.), but are way ahead of the pure scratch build approach of recent years. There's also talk of future kits for machined CNC fittings and such that will make things much easier.
