I have been reading the J-3 forum for several years now and finally decided to join the forum and get a J-3 if I can. I have a Skybolt to trade for a J-3 and am near Tulsa,OK. I have a 9yr old son who like to fly with me and I'd like to find us a J-3 to fly together.

I have a 1979 built Skybolt for sale or trade.
It has an O-360 with inverted oil system and pressure carb. It also has a smoke system but I have not used it.
KY97A Radio and portable intercom wired in, no transponder
TT Airplane and Engine is 837hr. With compressions 76/80, 77/80, 75/80, 74/80.
Wheel pants and rear canopy included.
It has new tires/tubes, valve cover gaskets, landing gear bungees, gear bolts, air and oil filters.
The starter and alternator were rebuilt this year and annual was just signed off.
Have all logs and plans to go with it.
The plane needs some clean up still and seems to be a good flyer with a solid engine. I will continue to work on it and fly until sold or traded.
