American Legend Aircraft Company Heightens Wintertime Flying Fun With A TrickAir Ski-equipped Legend Cub ​

SULPHUR SPRINGS, TEXAS, DECEMBER 5, 2007 –

American Legend Aircraft Company announced today the availability of a ski-equipped Legend Cub providing owners the opportunity for snow and ice operations, and scenic wintertime flying. Approval of the Legend Cub for operation on skis was finalized in late-Winter 2007. Now, any Legend Cub can be fitted with TrickAir skis for wintertime flying fun.

The classic tailwheel design of the Legend Cub lends itself intrinsically to flying with skis. The pleasures of wintertime recreational flying and satisfying the flying bug year round are now possible with the addition of TrickAir skis. A ski-equipped Legend Cub can takeoff, land and taxi on snow, ice, grass and even hard surfaced runways without the need to change.

American Legend was the first new light-sport aircraft manufacturer to offer skis as an option. The Legend Cub utilizes a wheel penetration ski design by TrickAir of Weyauwega, Wisconsin.
