Has anyone had a problem putting a Skytec lightweight starter ST-12/S on a J-3. I am replacing an A-65 with a C-85-12F that I am upgrading to a stroker. It appears to be to long to fit on the motor mount that came off the J-3. I have built up the motor on an engine stand and I placed the motor mount on the rear of the engine and the starter appears to be slightly proud of the rear mounts. I have not seen anything that I can find in searching the threads but my computer skills are limited.
