Hello All,

Had an interesting day. Angie, of CC called this AM to say that a member of her family had gone hiking, alone, in the Cascades and did not return. The family was in a panic. She asked John Alexander, one of our ferry pilots and myself to search an area near Rimrock Lake. John showed up in his PA 11 about 11 AM and Angie and I climbed in a PA 18 and off we went. We spent 2 hours covering an area of roads and camp sites near the lake at altitudes ranging from 4,000 to 7,000 feet. We were looking for the chaps car. No luck. We hit a few bumps and did a lot of banking and yanking in the process. Poor Angie used up all her zip lock bags. She managed to look up for this picture.

The hiker strayed too far and found himself bivuacing for the night. The following morning he bush wacked his way to a distant highway and found help. He recontacted the family shortly after we landed back in Yakima.
