A nearly new Terra/Trimble TX-760D transceiver was already installed in my L-4A when I bought it. The radio's been a great unit but the displays on its face recently blanked, rendering it useless.

The family owned shop linked below specializes in the repair of older avionics. I contacted them and then sent my transceiver off for repair. Needing a radio and having no way to borrow one, I opted instead for their AOG service for $100 additional.

The radio was repaired and on its way back within 24 hours of their receiving it. All needed parts were in stock. EAS also did other repairs, like replacing the tuning crystal, which had drifted out of tolerance and was causing less than perfect performance.

If you have an older radio in need of repair, I can heartily recommend EAS.
