Questions about seat sling installation

Does anyone have drawings or pictures of the rear seat sling installation. I think you slit the fabric along the curved tube in front of the baggage compartment, slide the end of the sling through the slit, then put bolts through the front of the sling, through the fabric behind the seat and the end of the sling. Mine has 4 grommets in the end. Is this correct?

Also, is the front seat sling supposed to be laced on the bottom or top?
