I am reaching the decision stage regarding the paint type for my J3 that will be put on Floats with VG's on the wings.
I am constantly debating between the two types of Paint. I welcome any input Poly -tone and Aero-thane. I am aware of the following pros and cons;
Poly -tone: ease of application, repair, more traditional authentic look
Aero-thane: more durable, appealing to the "nontraditional" eye and often more desired when selling, may hold VG's better. Floatplane application??

One suggestion was Poly-tone inside and Aero -thane out?

any input welcome

David
