We have two membership openings in our J3 club at KRBD in Dallas, Tx. The plane is a 1940/46 65hp equipt with a com radio, encoding
transponder, 196 GPS lights and wind driven generator. You are required to have at least a private license. If you do not have a tailwheel endorsement the club will provide one for you. You will be evaluated and checked out by the club owners for at least ten hours,. There is a one time signup fee and monthly dues. The dues help cover your insurance, hanger rent, maintenance, oil and biannual flight review in the club aircraft. You are responsible for your fuel and cleanup of the aircraft after each flight. Your dues can purchase 50 or a hundred hours a year. It is a good deal that is less than the cost of hanger rent for your own private plane! If you are interested PM me if you have comments post them. :) doug

Well time marches. We now have 3 openings for Cub membership. If you are interested PM me as stated in the post above. We also acquired a Bonanza and have room for members in it. So we now have life in the slow lane and the fast lane. :D Thanks, Doug

I would like to give a very positive recommendation for Doug and the Metal Feathers club. This is a wonderful group and the best club offering out there!

Doug,
What are the requirements money wise for membership? I have owned 4 Cubs in the past 40 years and I miss flying them.
Thanks,
Howard Fitch

Doug,
I am sorry but I am having trouble navigating around on this website. What is a PM and where do I find it?
I am just interested in the membership cost. I have seen this Cub before at RBD about a year ago. I looked at the membership rooster and it appears to be in email addresses, no names.
Sorry to be such a pain. I can fly a Lear but I can't figure this out.

Howard,
Click on the persons name you want to send a personal message along the left side of the page. Then it takes you to a personal info page. Along the left side you'll see "send pm", click on that and then write and send your message. If you have more problems get one of your kids or grandkids to help you.
PS: bet they can't fly a Lear!
