I am trying to cut out nice dollar patches by hand. I am using Fiskars pinking shears. The cut (pink) is only about 1/8 inch deep and about 6 pinks per inch.

Do these come in different sizes? Is there a better type for use in aircraft covering?

The Florian Pinker sold on Aircraft Spruce is described as 4 pinks per inch and the finishing tape is about 5 pinks per inch and the cuts are a bit deeper.

Anyone have any info on this obscure subject?
