PA-11 To Texas. Where to stop?

Hi all, long time lurker that rarely posts. I'm moving from Southern California to the Texas hill country and will be flying my no electric PA-11 there at the end of the week. I plan to leave just before sunrise to beat the heat and hope to get there in 2 days. I plan to follow i-10 the whole way and will stop somewhere between Lordsburg NM and Van Horn TX for the night. I just wanted to check and see if anyone has a good recommendation for a good place to stop for the night, ideally an airport that doesnt mind me pitching a tent under the wing as I'd hate to leave my baby alone outside in a strange town.
