Ok all you open cowl guys in the cold, what kind of oil temps do you see? I have installed the insulating cover on my oil tank and intake tubes and blocked the "oval" hole in the cowl. On a 30 degree F day, the best I get is 130 degrees. In the summer mine runs 170-180 max on the hottest days. Also, below 35 degrees, "cabin heat" is only a placard on the panel. :)
