Oil leaking tachometer

I changed engine mount bushings today and after run up for check I found the tachometer reading false rpm. Checking tach cable I found a lot of oil inside the hull and some drops of oil under the tachometer inside the plane. Is it possible that engine oil creeps through the tach cable inside the tachometer? Is yes, how do I fix that?
