I'm in the process of rebuilding/restoring a 1940 J-3. It started out life with a Franklin, was converted back and forth between Continentals and Lycomings. Current have an O-145B2, but am thinking about upgrading to a C85 for "fleet commonality" (I inherited my dad's Funk that also has a C85). The plane is currently disassemble and stored at Mineola and in need of some lower tube repairs. Wood spars in the wing still looks good. What a classy little plane it will be!!!

Anyone in the NE Texas area have suggestions on who to contact about repairs? Or someone to give me a good once over on the project? I'm an A&P, but at this point, a second set of eyes to point me in the right direction can't hurt.
