i once read an article in a taylorcraft owners club magazine that said stromberg once put out guidance to flight schools about removing mixture control wafers from an nas3a1, so students couldn't over lean the mixture possibly causing engine damage.
has anyone ever seen such documentation from stromberg or continental and do you have record of it?????? even something as simple as a letter on company letterhead if a sb was never issued.
i've had no luck finding documentation of such guidance. thanks.
