I received my first flight lesson in a J3 in May 1959. Have flown actively since then which included 34 yrs with the airlines. I've owned two C-172's and thought ending my flying career with a J3 would be appropriate. Prior to buying the J3, one of my last taildragger flights was a DC3 in 1963. I finished my airline career on the B747-400. So, I've come full circle.
